Drew Barnes
With a background in marketing and software development, in 2000 Drew joined Edge Consulting and became responsible for the design and development of econometric modelling and optimisation tools, and also bespoke custom applications for media agencies and a major telecom client.
Two years later, Edge Consulting was acquired by Accenture and joined their Marketing Sciences division. Drew was given responsibilty for the design and development of the full portfolio of software applications for the Marketing Sciences practice globally.
In 2005, Drew left Accenture to set up his own business, Sutherland Barnes Consulting Limited, and has since worked in a consulting role for Accenture, assisting them in the further development of their systems and, more recently, developed the systems behind marketingQED.
Prior to joining Edge Consulting, Drew worked for ABB Energy Information Systems developing energy trading software for the deregulated energy markets and also managing marketing & quality systems within the motor industry.
